I’d just like to take this opportunity to post these lovely pieces of currency. Do you know what this currency represents?
EUROS paid back to our bank account, to which I took out and bought myself some clothes, so i put it BACK in the economy…..making everyone, including moi, very happy
Yes, it is the MONEY paid back to me for quite a few doctor’s appointments in the year 2013. Not that the doctor’s appointments were that expensive to shell out for anyway, and yes, the FRENCH DO have (their own insurance plans ) along with their “socialized medicine”. But what you pay out to your DOCTOR, – no, NOT his receptionist, nor his fleet of office workers, nor in the palatial freshly wallpapered office with the fancy paintings, no, here, here in France, you pay the cash to HIM, in HIS hand, in his small office, and he does all the “paperwork.” Then a few weeks later – voila! It’s back in your bank account.
I just thought I’d share the evils of socialized medicine. 🙂

Long live Socialism… at least this part of it! Healthcare for the people! Isn’t the essential reason for government to exist at all – is to protect & provide for the welfare of the American people and our country? Government is certainly not formed for the “profits” of corporations, nor for those that want to “privatize” – everything; so that only those that can afford to “buy” things and “privatize” them into their own “little business” – (like our mercenary army [Black Hawk or something like that it was called]) to our post office, to our Social Security, to our schools, to our TV & Radio airwaves, to our natural resources like “oil”, etc. – They want the opposite of Socialism, which is to privatize everything they can get their hands on; which is both Plutonomy and Oligarchy. Economic growth that is powered and consumed by the wealthiest upper class of society.
(Plutonomy refers to a society where the majority of the wealth is controlled by an ever-shrinking minority; as such, the economic growth of that society becomes dependent on the fortunes of that same wealthy minority)
Love this! They are still trying to recall that scary Obamacare.
Republicans ought to LOVE Obamacare,… because it will pay for all the mental health care they so desperately need!

That’s a coincidence….I just got a reminder in the mail yesterday informing me that I have not yet taken advantage of a colorectal cancer test which I am told is 100% paid for by our Assurance Maladie (our French medical insurance). I don’t remember getting this type of mail back in St. Louis.
