    • Thanks Sharon. Wanted to do the dialog, but was too tired. The history of this Trianon was so fascinating and I could hardly take it all in. It was the most GEORGEOUS day to start out with. David met me after
his LAST Versailles class (about 2 miles away from the palace) and we toured it together, me for the 2nd time that day – NOT too much at all. Then the skys opened up and we literally walked about a mile from the Petit Trianon – through the gardens – up the huge steps back into the town to get our train. We could have been soaked, but since we take EVERYTHING with us on our back when we walk out the door each day, we were set with raincoats and umbrellas. We had that entire spanse of Versailles to ourselves for about 1/2 hour as we walked the main gardens in the rain – cause everyone crowded onto the little trams. The walk through the rain in that palace grounds was actually kind of magical. I’ll never forget it. The only yucky thing was my shoes and socks were soaked and we had two long train rides back to Montmorency.
Not a problem – we had a yummy hot toddy when we got back to the cozy apartment. (I wish you could see this place) Did you see that we are moving? (on FB)…..
      We’re SOOOOO excited!!!!
